Samport is a privately owned company. The board has extensive combined experience in the banking sector and international business.

Chairman
Georg served as Chief Executive Officer of Brunswick UBS until January 2000 and prior to that as Head of Corporate Finance. Before joining Brunswick, he worked for Harvard Institute of International Development as an advisor to the Russian Privatisation Committee and to the Russian Ministry of Finance. Georg has broad experience of international banking and regulated financial services markets, having served as Chairman and Investment Adviser of a UK-based Asset Management Company (2001-2003) under the auspices of UK IMRO and UK FSA, and as Director of a New York-based broker dealer (regulated by the US SEC and member of NASD).

Samport's founder started his career at Sambandscentralen, a Swedish communication organisation. John's technical skills have given rise to Samport's unique systems, and he is continuously working to develop and improve them.

Per is currently Managing Director of Colonix Medical Ltd., a UK-based company. He previously worked at Accenture and Arthur D Little, and has held several positions in the venture capital industry with companies such as Industrivärlden and Innovations Kapital.

Carl is currently Managing Director of Brunswick Investment Services Limited, part of the Brunswick Group, having previously held several senior finance positions in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Asia. Carl was formerly Chief Financial Officer of EF Asia, Senior Vice President of AGA Europe NE, Finance Manager of AGA Russia, and Financial Controller of ABB Power Ventures based in Russia.

Robert Littås
Board Member
Robert currently works in London as a Risk Manager Consultant for Visa Europe. From 1998 to 2007, he was Senior Vice President of Visa Europe where he headed the Risk Management Department. Prior to his career at Visa, he joined the police force, working in Sweden and for the United Nations in Cyprus. Later he was recruited to Interpol, first stationed in Stockholm and later in Paris, where he headed the Department of Economic Crime.
