Samport's comments to this news
- Samport has noticed a substantial increase in Card-Not-Present fraud, starting last Christmas, says Fredrik Rehnvall, Fraud and Risk Manager at Samport. Carding, as mentioned in the article, is on the increase again and we strongly advice all e-commerce merchants to install a fraud shield. This anti fraud software is normally able to stop over 95 per cent of the fraudulent attempts. Regrettably, the fraud awareness among Swedish merchants is not satisfactory. Many merchants contact us only when it is too late, i.e. after fraudulent attack on their web shop, concludes Fredrik Rehnvall.
