Discover Service Provider
Samport SPECTER traces the merchant’s service provider infrastructure. When a merchant is added, the system analyses the DNS, the host and e-mail service provider, complete with service provider name and country. This provides additional geographical information about the merchant. More importantly, certain service providers are known hosts to web sites with noncompliant or illegal contents. Once this is discovered, or advised by Samport, the user has the option of blacklisting the entire service provider in Samport SPECTER, significantly reducing the risk of unwanted web contents.
